Scott is the driving force behind MFS. As Board President and Executive Director, he manages our day-to-day operations, handling everything from film scheduling and talent bookings to moderating the audience Q&A's with our guest speakers.

Scott is originally from Dallas but moved to Malibu full-time after opening an office here in 1992. With more than 40 years in broadcast journalism, management and consulting, Scott also owns CommCinema, which designs and builds portable and fixed installation large-scale projection systems.

2026 marks Scott's 40th wedding anniversary with his wife Jimy, who is actively involved in wildlife rescue and is also a featured contributor to The Malibu Times.

From 2016 - 2024, Arianna worked in movie theater operations and management before joining the MFS team two years ago as Social Media Manager and Q&A Video Producer and Editor.

Now serving as Vice President of MFS, Arianna is poised to lead the next generation as the original founders look to address long-term plans for the organization's future.

Donna was the original office manager hired in 1975 when Hollywood's renowned "uber-agent" Michael Ovitz left William Morris to open Creative Artists Agency (CAA). After several years in that role, Donna moved on to the next phase of her career, which included multiple corporate positions and entrepreneurial ventures, including work as a marketing consultant (for clients such as McDonalds) and managing her own production company (producing a pilot and a series for various cable TV channels).

Don began his career at Warner Bros. in 1976 and, other than a short stint at Lorimar Telepictures in 1987, made Warner Bros. his home for 40 years serving as Senior Vice President of Sales Operations.

Don currently is an entertainment industry consultant and is President of The INTER-SOCIETY for the Enhancement of Cinema Presentation.

Don's other interests are philanthropic. He and his wife Linda founded the Neuro-Immune Disease Alliance a nonprofit to support medical research, physician awareness and education for complex chronic diseases such as ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Lime and Autism.

Don also actively supports both Variety, The Children's Charity and the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation.

For more than 40 years, Arnold Bernstein worked in entertainment as a CPA and business manager, helping actors, musicians, writers, producers, directors, and studio executives manage the financial side of their careers.

Along the way, Arnold had the good fortune to work with some remarkably talented people, including winners of Oscars, Tonys, Emmys, and Grammys, and two of the rare artists who have won all four and earned an EGOT.

Arnold founded one of the early boutique entertainment business-management firms, which eventually merged into one of California's largest accounting practices after his retirement.

Retirement, however, didn't mean leaving the entertainment world behind. Today, Arnold serves on the Board of Directors of the Malibu Film Society, where he gets to enjoy the part of the business, he always liked best—the movies, the stories, and the people who make them.

A founding partner of entertainment publicity firm Perception PR, Lea Yardum has spearheaded awards campaigns for some of the most talked-about film and television projects of the past two decades - including Oscar® Best Picture winners Anora, whose director Sean Baker made history as the first person ever to win four Oscars in one night for a single film, and Bong Joon Ho's Parasite, the first non-English-language film to win Best Picture in Academy Awards history.

Her television credits include Saturday Night Live, the most Emmy®-honored show in television history, as well as Emmy® winners The Traitors and Top Chef, and this year's most-nominated new series, Apple TV's Widow's Bay. She has worked with American Cinema Editors for over 25 years and was honored with the organization's prestigious Heritage Award in 2019 for her longstanding commitment to illuminating the vital contributions editors make to storytelling. She also represents the African American Film Critics Association and the Motion Picture Sound Editors. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Television Academy, the International Documentary Association and Film Independent.

Angel is an entertainment veteran, pursuing a Ph.D. in Media Psychology. A documentary producer, festival interviewer, Ms. Magazine writer, plus long-time SAG & indie awards voter, she also mentors creatives, including her two performer children.

Angel has been a film festival programmer and interviewer for over 20 years, including the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, the Los Angeles Film Festival, and the American Film Institute Festival. She has interviewed hundreds of filmmakers and actors, including many of the most celebrated in the industry. Her work has been published in Ms. Magazine, and she has been a guest lecturer at USC and UCLA on the topics of film and media. Angel is also a long-time member of the Screen Actors Guild and has been an active voter in the independent film awards circuit for many years. She is passionate about supporting independent filmmakers and helping to bring their work to wider audiences. As an artist, her work is featured in Yale’s Women in Photography International archive and One Eyeland books "Best of the Best World Photographers." Now researching film magic, Angel owns: “I'm all about the movies!"

As the President of Malibu Bay Company, David was responsible for managing the entire portfolio of the community's largest property owner.

His decades of experience working with City of Malibu has proven invaluable as MFS continues to navigate its way through the maze of local planning restrictions as a part of its never-ending quest for truth, justice, and a way to finally bring all of our events back to Malibu.
